Per tradition, for my birthday, Gene and I attended the Sundance Film Festival. This is our third or fourth year, and this time we decided to invite Lorraine and Mark along. It was a lot of fun having some newbies along with us. We attended our first film in the morning, 'Sound of My Voice', about a cult/alien following (loved the Q&A).
Then we walked through town and stopped by the art installations on our way to lunch. We ate at the Pizza and Noodle restaurant and then saw our second film 'All Your Dead Ones' from the World Dramatic competition, a foreign dramedy and story based on real life events in Colombia. After the film we strolled up and down Main Street and made our regular stop at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory before heading home around 10 pm. Thanks to Hannah for watching our kiddos. A week later, at the Best of Fest, we saw the winner of the U.S. Dramatic competition called 'Circumstance' in Salt Lake. I also got to attend a documentary with my SIL, Felicia, called 'MISSrepresentation'. Very good! We had so much fun and loved the fest!!!
